The Process
How a Chip Blend Epoxy Floor Is Installed
Diamond Grind
We grind the concrete surface to open the pores and ensure maximum epoxy adhesion. Cracks and spalling are repaired at this stage.
Epoxy Base Coat
A 100% solids epoxy base coat is applied. While wet, vinyl chip flakes are broadcast across the surface at your chosen density.
Chip Broadcast
Your selected blend is scattered evenly. Full broadcast gives full coverage; partial broadcast shows more base color.
Polyaspartic Topcoat
A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals the chips, adds gloss, and protects against Arizona heat, UV, and chemical spills.
